This Privacy Policy explains how ASCWORLD handles personal information in connection with website browsing, inquiries and related service communications. ASCWORLD (Xi’an) Education Technology Co., Ltd. and ASCWORLD EDUCATION AND TRAVEL SERVICE LLC provide services according to the relevant arrangement. Additional notices or agreements explain information handling for a particular service.

You can raise privacy questions or rights requests through the WeChat, phone or email details on our Contact page, including info@ascworld.net. Simply browsing this website does not constitute consent to information use unrelated to the service you request.

2. Information that may be involved

When you contact us, you may provide a name, phone number, email address, WeChat contact details, travel dates, destination and service needs. School or course matching may involve a child’s age, grade, English experience and relevant support needs.

If an application after engagement requires identity, health, financial or other sensitive documents, we will explain the purpose, necessary scope and submission method and obtain required authorization. Please do not send full identity documents, account passwords or unrelated sensitive information with an initial inquiry.

Website servers and network providers may generate technical logs such as IP addresses, access times, requested pages, browser or device types and error records. Actual logging depends on the server and network-service configuration.

3. Purposes and necessary use

Information is used to respond to inquiries, understand your needs, match and coordinate requested services, communicate application progress, handle feedback, operate and protect the website and meet necessary legal obligations. Processing is limited to what is needed for these purposes; browsing does not require application documents.

Where consent is required, we will seek it in accordance with applicable requirements. Processing necessary for a requested service or legal obligation is carried out on the relevant legal basis. New uses that require additional notice or authorization will be addressed before they begin.

4. Website features, cookies and external platforms

The current public website does not provide account registration, online payment or document upload. Its pages do not embed advertising trackers, visitor analytics or third-party live chat, and do not actively set cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. Hosting, security or access-control services may use necessary technical records or cookies, and browsers may cache ordinary page files.

Scanning a WeChat code, making a call, sending an email or opening Xiaohongshu and other external links takes you to the relevant third-party service, whose rules apply. Publishing contact methods does not give us access to your address book, photo library or other applications.

If forms, analytics or other features that change information handling are added later, we will update this policy and provide notice and choices where required.

5. Necessary disclosures and cross-border services

We will not sell personal information provided through your inquiry to third parties. Delivering a requested service may require necessary information to be shared with the relevant team, school, camp or service provider, or disclosed to an authority as required by law. Unrelated information will not be included.

Where China–U.S. team coordination, an application to a U.S. school or another cross-border disclosure is needed, we will explain the recipient, purpose, information involved and applicable safeguards before proceeding, and complete required notice, separate consent or other procedures. This page does not replace notices and authorization for a specific cross-border application.

6. Children’s information

The website is primarily for parents and adult enquirers and is not intended to collect information directly from children. Inquiries, enrollment and applications involving a child should be made or authorized by a parent or guardian and should include only necessary information.

For personal information about children under fourteen and other children’s information subject to special protection, we will obtain guardian consent and provide specific notices or rules as required by applicable law. Guardians may contact us to review, correct or request deletion of a child’s information. We will review and appropriately address information collected without necessary authorization.

7. Retention and security

Retention is based on the purpose, service progress, legal record-keeping requirements and any necessary handling of disputes. When information is no longer needed and there is no lawful reason to retain it, we will delete it or appropriately anonymize it. You may also request deletion.

Where legal retention, another person’s rights or other lawful restrictions apply, we will explain why information cannot immediately be deleted or supplied.
