A FEW PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
Before you choose a course.
Can I find a class if my English is limited?
Placement testing and the school’s available levels help identify a suitable class. Some specialist courses have minimum requirements; general English is a useful starting point to explore.
Can I study for a few weeks?
We can look for courses around your planned stay. Minimum enrollment, start dates, school holidays and cancellation terms must be checked before booking.
Can class times work around school pick-up?
We consider both timetables and the commute. Morning, afternoon or individual options depend on availability, with realistic time for drop-off and pick-up.
Is this a parents-only class? Can children join?
We generally explore adult language-school courses. Age requirements and class composition are set by the school; these are not automatically parents-only classes. Children’s preschool, immersion or age-appropriate English programs are arranged separately.
Which courses are compatible with visitor status?
Eligibility depends on your primary purpose of travel, the nature of the course and your U.S. status. Formal study differs from short, recreational, non-credit classes during a visit. A course title or weekly hour count alone is not enough to establish eligibility. We review relevant requirements during course matching.
How are fees calculated? Can we plan this with our child’s program?
Costs depend on school, course type and duration, with tuition, registration and materials identified separately. English study can be coordinated with preschool or school immersion, or explored on its own.
