As the geotechnical engineering consultant, ASC geosciences developed an innovative foundation support system for the printing presses. ASC also provided services in the areas of quality control/materials testing, threshold special inspection services, geoenvironmental engineering, and value engineering services.
Difficult subsoil conditions consisted of existing construction demolition debris underlying much of the project site coupled with drastically poor drainage patterns. These conditions together with a “zero-movement” settlement criterion imposed by the designer of the new Goss Colorliner presses required thoughtful engineering solutions under strict fiscal constraints.

ASC geosciences, inc. provided Geotechnical Exploration, Construction Materials Testing and Threshold Inspection Services for the expansion and alteration project.
This increased grandstand seating capacity from 7,000 to 9,000 seats. Façade alterations included Mediterranean style architecture with red terra cotta tile roof.
In addition, a new Triple-A ball field was added with field lighting and a grass berm with seating room for 2,000 spectators.
