ASC announces staff promotions

Christopher C. Basile, P.E. has been promoted to Chief Engineer, Geotechnical Division. He will handle geotechnical projects for ASC throughout the southeastern USA. Mr. Basile has served as Area Manager for the past four years. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and MBA from Northeastern University in Boston. Mr. Basile has over 25 years of total professional experience that includes international projects ranging from infrastructure projects throughout Ireland to deep foundation installation and testing for onshore LNG tanks in Angola, Africa. He has co-authored a number of technical papers and presented them at national and international conferences. Mr. Basile is registered in five states and holds certification with the International Registry of Professional Engineers as well as the National Council of Engineering Examiners.
Prashanth Vaddu, E.I. has been promoted to Central Florida Area Manager. For the past five years, Mr. Vaddu has served as Senior Staff Engineer and has been instrumental in providing quality services to ASC’s clients in the Tampa Bay area. He is currently the project manager on a continuing contract for The School Board of Pinellas County, which has encompassed more than 50 projects to date. He is responsible for the oversight of geotechnical and materials testing projects, geotechnical analysis, and foundation system design throughout Central Florida. Mr. Vaddu graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale with a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering.
