ASC geosciences has provided Construction Materials Testing and Geotechnical Investigation Services during construction for various projects for The School Board of Collier County.

 At Sabal Palm Elementary School in Naples, Florida, proctor samples were taken from various locations at the project site.

ASC performed soil densities and Limerock Bearing Ratio testing in various locations at Big Cypress Elementary and Corkscrew Middle School.

ASC geosciences has provided Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Testing, and Threshold Inspection Services for various projects at Florida Gulf Coast University, including six 3-story apartment-style residence facility with 12 four bedroom units per building.  This new facility (North Lake Village Phase V) has a designed capacity of approximately 284 beds. ASC has also performed on the Multipurpose Building, Northlake Swimming Pool, Academic 5 Building, and the Library Addition.  ASC continues to provide services for Florida Gulf Coast University Phase Six and Seven.

ASC geosciences performed the collection and laboratory analysis of sail samples for pesticides and herbicides due to the existence of a farmer citrus grove at the project site.  Pesticides were detected in the soil samples and further soil samples and laboratory analysis were performed.  Based on the results of these activities the project continued into construction phase.  ASC continues to provide Construction Materials Testing, Concrete Inspection and Monitoring, and Threshold Inspection Services on 80-acre site.  The new school will feature 1,884 student stations in 73 classrooms.

ASC geosciences retained to provide Geotechnical Investigation Services for the new Keiser College campus in Lakeland, Florida.  During the next two years, four total buildings will be constructed, two for the school and two for office leasing.

The first building is scheduled to be completed in time for the school’s June session and will be approximately 45,000 sq. ft. and the second will be a 3-story building at 65,000 sq. ft.

Located just off of Interstate 4, on a 12.5 acre plot, the new campus will more than double the college’s current Lakeland location.

ASC geosciences is currently providing Construction Materials Testing, Geotechnical Investigation and Threshold Inspection Services during construction for various projects for The School Board of Polk County.

These projects included numerous classroom additions at several school locations across Polk County. The additions range from 6 to 12 new classrooms  at elementary, middle and high schools. An auditorium and field house project has also been added for two Middle-Senior schools in south Polk County.
